About The Team
“Closing the gap with reflection”.
Sindiwe Magona describes Missdela as a “Warrior Girl” who believes in standing up for what is right, a hard worker who obeys her Elders, tells the truth and loves reading and listening to her Makhulu’s (Gandma’s) stories.
She is here to speak truth. To remind us Africans who we are, who we have been and who we can become. She teaches steadfast values of honesty, respect and responsibility.
“Back in the days villagers took their community seriously. Missdela is here to remind us that we have those traditions. This girl not only holds a mirror to the nation, she points the way forward to a healthier, happier more wholesome and United nation – proud of the sense of belonging that knits it into ONE- SIBANYE!”
It was all about giving a little part of Africa to the outside world through a toy and introducing children to the richness of the wonderful Continent of Africa.
